# 100 Questions on Life

——Evening Dialogues at the Bodhi Retreat, Xiyuan Temple
> Since 2007, Suzhou Xiyuan Temple has hosted the Bodhi Retreat for the general public. Each retreat lasts seven days and includes thematic Dharma talks, group refuge practice, the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, the Eight Precepts, bodhicitta precepts, meditation experience sessions, temple tours, pilgrimage, and Dharma-light transmission ceremonies. The program is arranged around the five essential elements of Buddhist practice—study, contemplation, and practice; and precepts, concentration, and wisdom—making it a rare opportunity for spiritual cultivation. To date, sixteen retreats have been held. During each retreat, an evening dialogue is held in front of the Heavenly King Hall, where monastic teachers, retreatants, and volunteers gather to share reflections and clarify doubts. This article is compiled from Master Jiqun's responses during these evening dialogues.
